Im an actor from the Capilano Musical Theatre program. I just now came across your site and while I commend you on your effort to inform the public on the musicals in Vancouver, you sir have missed several shows.The Threepenny Opera: A rarely done musical but stunning production design and standout performers Exit 22 at Capilano UniversityBye Bye Birdie. Also fantastic production designs as well as a fun and talented actors at Studio 58 at Langara CollegeReefer Madness, by a small local company. Small yet packed with talent , at the PAL theatre I see nothing on here.Flower Drum Song, an older, dated but gem of musical theatre history by Rodgers and Hammerstein produced by Vancouver Asian Canadian Theatre which ran for 3 weeks in may/juneTitanic: musical in concert by Applause. A beautiful and haunting show that had a short 4 day run in may. NothingMaybe its time you had a few more people working with you to ensure you actually cover everything in Vancouver. I suggest getting in contact with the Ovation Award committee which I also sit on, local awards for the musical theatre companies. Hi Nick,Found this on the internet while googling but i was a camper at the camp ( I was that werid always full of energy girl on royal rasin brand also krunch is my brother) and i really wanted to thank you for comign all the way from where ever you are in the states to our amazing camp to come to speak to us about moving mountains in our life. Everyday at chapel was my favorite moment listening to all the hillarious stories and learing how to move mountains in my life. I liked that your preeching and everything was from heart and you were proud to say everything even the hilarious stories that might of been embarassing at the time. Thanks for making this one of the most meboral camps for me and I really hope you can come back again some time! Thank you from Canada Eh! Say hi to your family. (If after reading my freakingly long thank you you have no idea who the heck sent this, ust nodd you head and smile and just know it was like one out of the 300 other campers)lolOnce again thanks! -Kinga

Thanks Tristan, for the clarification. The landlord served us with a 28 day notice 10 months in to our 1 year lease. Although there was no breach of lease the landlord verbally explained to us that the only time we should call police is if someone was being raped or murdered. Our next door tenant is a pot smoker and we had reached out to the landlord in the hopes that he could fix the issue. The pot smoke kept coming in to our apartment and blowing in to our daughters room via the bathroom so we exercised our right to utilize public policy by calling the police when it occurred. After this string of calls he issued us the 28 day notice. The strange thing about the situation is that the tenant we complained about made a similar call to police about smelling pot smoke in their own bathroom (maybe to alleviate suspicion) and by in doing so, there call was the 3rd in 30 days, the residential building was labeled a nuisance but the landlord came after us instead. The tenant in question does side work around the property when the landlord can’t or isn’t able to make it and we believe that this is why this tenant isn’t being treated differently than we are by the landlord. We are vacating at the end of our lease and made him aware of it but the landlord had already told us that he would not be renewing our lease when he issued the 28 day notice. We have an attorney because we’ve gotten verbal threats from the tenant in question due to our calls to the police. Any chance you’ll be doing a specific blog on landlord retaliation/harassment against tenants and why it shouldn’t happen? That would be greatly appreciated.Shawn(Concerned Tenant)
